Chris, would you care to comment on the quality of Rose's game last night?

I only saw a small portion of the game but apparently he looked very good. He's had good games this year but they've been interspersed with poor ones. Certainly, he looks better than he did in December.

I'm intrigued and cautiously excited about Tony Snell's recent play.

Losing streak snapped...Hossa (of course) ties game at 1 in 3rd period, then he assists Toews for the go ahead/winner, Versteeg gets an empty netter...3-1 victory 'Hawks...again the first 2 periods just mediocre...young Ryan Hartman was  very impressive in his debut, in his first 6 seconds of his 1st shift he crushes Zubrus in Devils end, then Zidlicky against boards seconds later, pretty frickin impressive, cool kid good awareness, plus lots of energy...good night all in all

Bulls start the second half with a loss to a bad Detroit team. Rose took just 9 shots; 8 points, 6 TO's.

The Pistons just beat the Bulls pretty easily.

Mike Dunleavy who is so important was 0-5 with  a whopping 0 points.

MVP was 2-9 with 8 points.

Oh and the Blackhawks are awful too. Another bad loss at home to a horrible team that got clobbered last night.

I'm starting to worry a bit about the B'Hawks.  I'm hoping that they're just in a bit of a lull since it really doesn't matter that much what seed they end up with.  They will be difficult to oust in a 7 game series against anyone.  The Bulls are a different issue since home court advantage is so important in the playoffs (even as bad as they have been at home).  They will have to ramp up their play and consistency to make it out of the 2nd round.

Hard to argue that the BHawks are elite right now. I did see a stat where each of the last 3 January-February periods have seen the Hawks below .500 and seeming to go through the motions. But they are older, and their defense is shaky and hard to see them just "flip a switch" come playoff time.
