This is the same injury he had back in November of 2013.

He's done.

I agree.

We lost Jay Williams to unusual circumstances and we're gonna suffer the same fate with D Rose.

The news on Kane doesn't sound good.

Chicago Tribune: The injury to Kane does not look good.

Chicago Sports Talk: Patrick Kane suffered a potentially awful injury.

The annual Derrick Rose injury has arrived, is it that time of year already?

From the Trib:

"A source said Rose was told after (the previous) surgery that a second tear could happen and typically those are treated by cutting or removing the damage. That generally involves a shorter rehabilitation of three to six weeks."

It's hard to imagine Rose being back for the playoffs, but it does suggest that he might be ready next Fall.  It'll be interesting to see how the team responds to his absence.

As for Kane, I'll be satisfied if he is healthy come playoff time.  The team is going to finish with a middle seed, and Kane's loss doesn't matter a whole lot in that regard.  But they will need him big time for the postseason.

Titans, please don't be stupid. Draft Mariota if he's there. Thank you.

Ha!  Yeah the thing I don't understand is you need a QB to win in the NFL, and a guy like Mariota, who has all the tools and all of the intangibles you look for in a QB, sounds like he'll wind up falling in the Titans' lap if they want him.  And it sounds more and more like they're not going to take him.

My gut feeling is the Titans are going to trade down and stock up on picks so their crack scouting staff can draft more terrible players like Bishop Sankey, Justin Hunter, and Blidi Wreh-Wilson.

Maybe they like Zach Mettenberger better.
