Yes, as in Panera Bread Company. It's his really awful nickname they gave him. At least he has sick skill.

Panarin second goal was a  fantastic wrister that I haven't witnessed in long time  and Kane's no look back handed shot was sick...

Granted the Hawks don't look as good as they did last season, but Panarin sure is becoming one of my favorite players. He's playing great and will help make the loss of Sharp and the others, a little bit easier to swallow

This 'Hawks team should find its stride once the new adds and  vets chemistry becomes more balanced...Keith's return, as well as Rozival, will a definite plus...Read in the Trib that 'Hawks looking into trading for defensive talent...

Steph Curry has 22 points on 7 shots.  How the hell does one set goals after a performance like that?

If you're down on NBA, watch a Warriors game.  It's high art.  They have so many skilled players - I think on many teams Barnes could be a star.

Curry's PER right now would be the best of any player in NBA history. The top ten is all Jordan, James, and Chamberlain. His effective FG% would be 11th all-time in any season. The highest rated guard in that category is Steve Nash at #24.

I'm sure some of us remember the late basketball coach Bill Musselman's "Sweet Georgia Brown" pregame show from the 1970s.  His son Eric has revived the routine at Nevada-Reno.  It lasts 6:30 and is worth watching.  Be sure to go full screen.

Nobody seems to say much about the Bulls when they're playing well.

The Bulls do have the best winning % in the East at .688. It won't last because their offense is pretty bad, but some folks act like the Bulls are worse than the 76ers.

Nobody thinks any such thing. They're just very mediocre and no threat for a title anymore.
