I think it’s hilarious that you want no part of Norvell, yet he’s about to be 10-1 with a QB that UT had, but didn’t want, and a team where the best players on both sides of the ball are walk-ons that weren’t recruited by anyone.

Dave Ive been a sports nut since I was about 5 years old.

Ive either been playing, watching, playing the video games, selling programs to go to the UT football games for free,or something my  entire life and when I have to Google a mans name in a coach search thats saying something.

I agree. If you don’t know the name of the guy who coaches the best team in your home state, that is definitely saying something.

But is it telling you anything you didn't already know?

If its Greg Schiano then I get to start playing more cheap golf in the Fall.

I wont partake in it.

I wont quit them or root against them but I wont be buying any hats or t shirts either.

Maybe we have become mediocre.

Jenny McCarthy used to be a dime back in the day too.

I saw something about Mike Leach today.  Now that would be a really good hire.  That’s probably the most feasible thing I’ve seen so far that would be a great move I think.

Honestly I think Leach would be a better hire than Gruden regardless.

Schiano isn’t a bad hire, but the Vol message boards are fun.

I absolutely **** hate it.

You all were right.

We have become mediocre.

My Carson Newman Eagle fandom just rose considerably.

It is hard to hire an established coach and their was never a chance Gruden was taking the job.

Tennessee ending up with Schiano when Florida ends up with Mullen would be like a Vol fan accidentally receiving salad when he ordered a $50 steak at a nice steakhouse.

Other teams in the SEC better better be careful when they have a large lead at game's end and they are taking a knee.

Students are protesting and state reps are raising hell too.

Just hire Kiffin or Cutcliffe back for God's sake.
