Blackhawks haven’t been having a good week. Jones maybe a #1 defender, but it still seems like an overpayment on the trade and contract if he is that good. If he isn’t that is really going to hurt.

College sports are really getting stupid if it hasn't gotten to that point already.  It's all about the money for everyone involved.

Nice get on paper for the Bulls at 38 in Ayo Dosunmu.  Public League kid and UI player who fits a need, almost universally considered a mid-20s talent.

I would actually have taken Sharife Cooper, another 1st round talent who slid (eventually all the way to 48 and Atlanta).  But Dosunmu is still good value there.

Lonzo to the Bulls on a very nice sign and trade.  Now need a wing - though Ball can guard anywhere 1-3 among the best in the game.  There's actually talk the Bulls could be trying to work a S & T with SA to land DeRozan, with the intent of starting effectively three big guards.  That would be a pretty phenomenal offensive lineup, though only Ball and Williams would be plus defenders.

Simonovic, presumably.  Though I'm sure they'll sign a reserve big with the VE, or maybe someone a little better like McGee if they can make the dollars work.

Alex Caruso 4 years $37 million is... odd.  Still need a big and don't have a starting wing - why spend that much on Caruso?  He's a an adequate role player but that's a lot of money.

I don't know much about Caruso but it would appear that the Bulls are making defense a bigger priority.

Wonder if this stockpiling of guards could signal a possible White deal.  He and Lauri together could probably fetch you a decent 3&D wing or a lottery-protected 1st.

That seems quite possible, Deeg.  I've grown to like Coby, but the team may be better off dealing him.
