Heck, I've give my right arm and my right leg just to see the Predators have one close to elite offensive player in my lifetime.  We've never had that since Day 1 of the franchise.

Watching hockey on TV and attending a hockey game are two very different things.

Yeah, for sure.  Especially at the old Chicago Stadium with that organ and the crowd cranking sound at unspeakable volumes.

The inept front office had 3 first rounders last year, 2 the next three years and the possibility that Kane returns another first rounder.  The prospect pool has gone from horrible to top 5 in 1 year. 

They got a defensemen that looks pretty impressive and made the team worse to tank.  I would have liked more for both Kane and Debricant, sure.

Richardson seems like a pretty solid hire as a coach.  They have a ton of draft capital, ownership that is willing to eat money, and a ton of cap space in a flat cap.

He turned a horrible trade by Bowman into a second round pick. Got a ton for Hagel.  His first draft is looking pretty excellent.  The Ducks and Arizona have dominated the Blackhawks the last two nights and after Domi gets dealt this team may not get another points the rest of the season.  If they can luck into Bedard or Fantilli and have another high draft pick next year the future will be pretty bright.
