The Marlins break with other teams so far and keep their pretty good hitting, poor defensive arb-eligible player. I expected Aguilar to be non-tendered, and $4.3 million actually seems like a pretty good deal for him in this market.

Mark Feinsand @Feinsand
The Marlins and 1B Jesus Aguilar have agreed to a one-year, $4.3 million deal, per source.

Rockies have non-tendered David Dahl. I know he's had trouble staying healthy at the major league level, but he'll only be 27 next year, can play CF, and has three years until free agency. He'd be a decent LIAB candidate.

Corey Knebel now too.  He'd be another interesting lottery ticket.

Jose Urena was a non-tender I thought could be quasi-interesting.  He still has a fastball, and isn't far removed from being a decent middle of the rotation guy.  There could be some good mid-rotation value there on a one year deal.

Just as an aside, it's sad these are the kinds of options we're having to sift through.

Ricketts reality is we're dumpster-divers now.  That's just how it is.

Turns out he wasn't non-tendered after all. He was traded to the Dodgers.

Archie Bradley was non-tendered by the Reds.  I'd add him to the list of interesting non-tenders.  It wouldn't hurt to have a somewhat viable backup option to Kimbrel.

Ryne Stanek should be on that list.

Carlos Rodon would be kinda fun to get into the pitch lab. If you could improve his third pitch he could provide a lot of value.

His velo was down but I would be all over Bradley. Sadly he's likely to be too pricey for the Rickettses.

David Dahl is another non-tender I could conceivably see having an interest in.
