It’s no secret that I hate these topics. What you call conversations, I call “one side spouting a bunch of stupid ****, and the other side replying with name calling and their own stupid ****, ad nauseum...”.

The people on the left are just as bad as the people on the right. You’re both a bunch of intolerant ****. Nothing is being solved, and nothing is civil about any of the discussions. It’s all a bunch of back and forth bullshit that isn’t going anywhere.

Trump sucks. Biden sucks. We all lose on election day. We have the least electable incumbent in the history of our country, and Biden is the best the Dems can come up with? Really? What a **** joke. You leftists should be ashamed.

It chaps my ass every time I click on the Cubs board or the Bears board, hoping to see something new about one of the teams, and instead see nothing new except in the damn P&R topic...and that’s increasingly the case every day. That’s why I made the change, and of course the intolerant left complained because I moved their cheese. Par for the proverbial course...

For what it’s worth, Bill Sharp, hardly a “leftist,” called you a fascist for making that change.

I wish I had the luxury of ignoring these threads. I would.

There's another option:  get rid of the Political topic entirely.

There are a number of board administrators.  Instruct them to simply delete any post deemed to be blatantly political.

There's always the option to not click on the topics you don't want to read. I rarely look at the other sports or history topics, and never looked at the BBFL topic before I joined the league last year.

It's convenient to use the "next" button to go forward to the next topic with posts rather than go back to the list of topics and select another topic to enter.

This is considered a "mild" case.

Thought it'd be better to follow up on this post here, CBJ.

Just wondering, though, would a case like Hottovy's where he was down for 30 days and lost 18 pounds be filed under the "paucisymptomatic" classification?  Basically is anything short of going to the hospital considered "mild"?

Hope that question doesn't come across as smarmy by the way.  If anything, even if in the medical profession it'd be considered a "mild" case, I certainly wouldn't call it "mild" if I went through what Hottovy did!  It's still just bewildering to me how Covid reacts in so many different ways to so many people who have tested positive for it.  For people who test positive who don't require to be hospitalized, it seems like there is quite a gulf between asymptomatic to people who are very greatly affected like Hottovy.

COVID-19 is going to be the end of humanity.  It's going to be how we all die.  It's best that we accept that.
