I just learned that the great grandson and grand grand nephew of MLB Hall of Famers Paul and Lloyd Waner is in my Constitutional Law class this spring.

Paul Waner was a great player and a slam dunk HOFer.

Lloyd Waner was a good player but one of the least deserving HOFers. Lloyd was a slap hitter who hit a ton of singles in an era marked by lots of homers by more productive hitters. Kind of a Lance Johnson-type player but with more total career hits.
