When the IED hit my daughter's convoy 4 years ago, she only suffered a concussion, but 13 Afghanistani civilians were killed in the blast.

Since then, on every Memorial Day she goes down to the beach and places 13 white roses into the ocean.

That is what she is doing as I write this.

I looked all through the archives of Worldcrossing for that famous back and forth between Wmljohn and the Femme Fatale, but it must have taken place before any saving was done. It was brilliant.  Such perfect timing, which I guess is what great comedy is all about.
