Vandy baseball got a good one today...one of my sons friends (and former teammates), Walker Grisanti, committed to Vandy today. Anchor down!

And, for Jiggy...another friend and former teammate of CJ's, James Muse, has committed to Tennessee.

James and Walker are HS teammates at CBHS.

Cant beat it. Success has taken longer than expected in the murderers row known as the SEC but I believe Dave Serrano is a fine coach.

Thought I would post this here first-I am needing 4 tix to Cubs v SD the evening of 7-22-14...Anyone here have a connection looking to dump them? Not looking for pricey seats/tickets but nice location at fair cost. I would rather do business here with someone as opposed to StubHub or Ebay

FOX Sports has been showing the 2001 All-Star Game.  What a fun walk down Steroid Lane!

I think he's into Magellan reports, as in "Magellan took a giant clipper and circumcised the world."

Actor Jake Johnson ("New Girl" etc) wrote a piece for Grantland about his Cubs' fandom. The first few paragraphs are pretty typical fanboy stuff, but at least he seems to legitimately follow the prospects and knows what's up.

But the best part is the 2nd half of his essay, as he creates an extended metaphor for what it means to be in a relationship with the Cubs.
Funny and true.

I am still amazed at the continuing improvements in the computer world.

Just bought a 1 TB wireless harddrive which fits in my shirt pocket, and it cost less than $70 a Walmart.

Should help me clean of my PC harddrives a bit.
