Firefox help needed:

The Add-On Flashblock is not compatible with Firefox 5.0

Is there a way around the problem or should I go back to a previous release?

It would be nice if you could simply turn Flash on or off like you can with Internet Explorer.

Google Chrome runs circles around Firefox.  I'm going to wait a day or two and then uninstall Firefox permanently and hope to never see it again.

The only thing left on my Google Chrome "to do" list is to figure out how to add cut/copy/paste to the tool bar up by the back/forward/reload buttons.  Having to continually click on that little wrench is a royal pain.

Sorry, Cactus, but here's my son's response:

It's a Firefox extension.  Firefox 5.0 is brand new.  There's a gazillion extensions that probably won't work right away, until the individual developers update them.

I know, doesn't help much.

Thanks.  That makes it unusable as far as I'm concerned.

Using Chrome and IE8.Dumped Firefox...
Steve, any hints on how to add buttons like cut, copy, and paste to the tool bar?

I'm getting back into the habit of using ctrl/c and ctrl/v instead.

Cactus...I'm a dumb-s-h-i-t when it comes to being computer saavy. I have a co-worker that I'm going to hire just to come over and run through all the bells and whistles on my new computer. Sorry I can't help. Do you or any of the folks here have your television hooked up to the'net? I have a wireless router and it seems to be quite easy to hook DirecTv to that bad-boy....

Anyone remember Winnie Cooper from the wonder years, played by Danica McKellar...i figure anyone who was a teenage boy at the time the show was on the air would.  I had the hugest crush on her.  Anyway, apparently she is bloody brilliant.  She went to UCLA for film but ended up majoring in math.  She found herself always taking math classes because they were fun and ended up graduating suma cum laude.  Apparently, in 1998, along with two other people, she wrote a mathematical proof proving her own theorem dealing with magnetism in 2 dimensions called the Chayes-McKellar-Winn Theorem. Anyone care to explain the following link to me? Well, after the first 4 or 5 paragraphs, i understand them.

She definitely shows you can't judge a book by it's cover.

That's been reported on here?  My bad, guess i must have missed it though i do vaguely remember seeing it somewhere before i came across it this morning, so very well could have been here.  Does that mean you can explain the proof he talks about in the link in normal person talk?  lol

My guess is that it was not old news to most here.  Certainly wasn't to me.
