Ok.  Catching up on all the discussions since I finally got internet.

I'm a web tab junkie and have several pages open at once.  I found that Chrome locked my system up a lot.  I found it unusable so I went back to Firefox.  I find the once a week crashes of Firefox better than the once an hour crashes I was having with Chrome.  Of course that was in February, so maybe they've fixed the problems.

I have to admit that relying on prayer is probably better than relying on their talent.

That's odd, grrr.  I've used Chrome exclusively for a long time now.  Always have anywhere from 6 to 15 or more tabs open and have never experienced lock ups.

The only problem I'm having with Google Chrome (besides having to use ctrl/c and ctrl/v for copy and paste) is when I print want to print what should be one page from a specific web site and get a blank page with it - unless I remember to select only page one.

I'm finding Chrome to be considerably faster than FireFox.  I'm guessing Chrome is always in sync with AdBlock and FlashBlock whereas Firefox has contention problems with them as new releases of any of those products come out.

FWIW Dept.  My son, the tekkie, keeps telling me I should be using Chrome, but I like Firefox so I've stayed with it.  But the tekkie says that Chrome is the best available.

Why is he willing to contradict his father.  Has he no fear of getting cut out of the will.

I suppose it is an empty threat when he knows you have no money to leave anyway.

You should have lied to him, like I lie to MY kids.

Bingo.  Mrs. CurtOne and I are diligently and carefully spending our kids' inheritances.  And if gas keeps going up, that will be sooner than later.

Thought I would give Chrome another look.  I installed yesterday morning and again had a lock up in the afternoon.  We'll see if I get another lock up today.  It might be back to Firefox.

A couple of other annoyances that I like in Firefox.  When I restore an accidentally closed tab, it doesn't remember the history of that tab.  Pretty handy if you ask me if it can remember the history.  I also like to be able to just double click the tab to reload.  It was an option I had in Firefox that I used all the time.  There were a couple other annoyances that I found extensions for.  So it is mostly working the same.  But if it keeps locking up and crashing, then it'll have to wait another few months before I try again.

I don't get why you're locking up, grrrr.  What kind of websites are you visiting?  :)
