How would I know.  My wife doesn't let me go to that thread.

I think she may be concerned that I would come across HER college pictures.

Apologies to a number of you.  For whatever reason a lot of your emails were going into my spam folder.  If you thought I was ignoring you because I don't like you, it could be true, but more likely because of this glitch.  Can't figure out why...

Davep, a lot of your emails were in that lot.  For good reason.  Junk.

We had a 102 birthday party for my mother today (birthday August 1).  All her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren were there.  When she was asked to give her blessing to her family she replied "May you all live to be 102.

With the world the way it is lately, I can't help but wonder if that wasn't really a curse.

Was at a Daytona Cubs game recently and a family was having a 100 birthday party. There were about 30 people there. They had T-**** made that looked like baseball uniform tops. On the back was the persons first name and below it a number. The numbers were for the "generation" the wearer belonged to. Paul the "birthday boy" was #1. His Children were #2. Grandchildren #3 and great-grandchildren #4. Very cool.

Just testing...does the word shirt really get censored here?  Or was the "R" just missing above?

Ok.  So I've been using Chrome for a couple weeks now.  I like some of the improvements I've found, and I found extensions to add on the missing features I like except for the double click the tab to reload.  I wish there was a way to put the extension buttons on a separate line.

However, Chrome locked up on me yesterday and today.  I hope it doesn't happen again for a couple weeks, because if it becomes a daily occurrence I'll go back to Firefox.

Glad you're liking it, grrr.....still not sure why you're experiencing the lockups, though.

I've started experiencing lockups and slow responses with Chrome too, especially with this site.  The lack of cut/copy/paste buttons on a tool bar are also a source of continuing frustration for me.

I've been called several adjectives throughout the years. Now Dad can be added to the list. My wife is about 8 weeks along. We had our first ultrasound. When that heart beat started, I got choked up like was watching Field of Dreams.

Congratulations, Pistol.  Being a parent is a unique joy.

BTW, "Dad" is a noun.

Congrats, Pete!  Your life is about to change in a big way!!  Say goodbye to life as you've known it.  :)

Seriously, that's awesome news.  I can't remember life before kids.  Well, I can (and boy do I miss those days!), but I can't imagine life without them.  :)
