If duluth venue is not special... and on a monday night... we will pull the trigger on Nashville... can fly the wife up to nashville and make a weekend out of it!

You'll have a lot more fun in Nashville than in whatever Duluth, GA is supposed to be.  If you make it over here, give me a shout, and I'll buy you a beer or two somewhere on Broadway.

And by the way, I have zero problems with Tool . . . just kind of surprised they're big enough today to fill up a place like Bridgestone.

Infinite Energy Arena was apparently the Gwinnett Center Arena until just recently. I'm kind of surprised Tool and Primus are still big enough attractions to book a venue that big.  It's a pretty typical smaller sports arena--Atlanta's minor league hockey team plays there.

I saw Barenaked Ladies (a long time guilty pleasure of mine) there a couple of times about 10 years ago.  I enjoyed the shows I saw there, but there's nothing special about the venue to make it worth going out of your way to see if Nashville is more convenient.

I dont think the demand for their music has dropped at all..

Details on the 9 year lawsuit that has kept them out of the recording studio and the touring game.

Going to do my best to plan this out in the next week! so i will be in touch, Beers/Bourbon is on me. we will have to be "sober" for the show though :)

I guess i just didn't realize Tool and Primus ever had the audience to play somewhere as big as the Infinite Energy Arena, even in their prime.

Primus probaly never has... been to 3 tool shows two at usf sun dome, both were sold out.

3rd was a large festival also sold out.... they have a prettyoyal fan base fueled by very few and dispersed shows.... so they sell out larger arenas often

Saw Sturgill Simpson at Ryman recently; great venue.

Will be back next weekend to see Houndmouth.

Seeing Tool at Bridgestone and Mumford as well in April.

Love me some Nashthrill
