I think JR was referring to the knee injury.

At least that's less tragic than what happened to the other RB in the backfield around that time.

I read every day. I just needed a break from all of the non sports related negativity. I enjoy the drama of the offseason more than most so I thought I'd come back but stay away from the religion and politics thread.

And one more thing...

Yu Darvish earned his money this year.

Scoop sent me an email, she said, “Have you heard from Dusty?” No, I replied, I did hear that he was back though, posting on the bleachers thread.

Now, there’s this gal who sings in the Allstate Insurance commercial that’s really good. Edith I think is her first name, she sings in French.

Terrific selection of ceremonial first pitch honorees. Let’s hope MLB teams follow suit when ballparks open to fans. Plenty of first responders that deserve to be honored.

Jamie Edens threw the ceremonial first pitch to her husband, Ryan Ward.  It was "just a bit outside" so Ward pulled it back over the plate just like he was a MLB catcher.

Game 2 gave us a $27.50 hot dog that could feed the family, and a reminder that the Tampa Bay Rays may be even better than the sum of their bargain basement parts.

It's called a Boomstick chili dog.
