caleb smith gives up HR's to the first two guys he faces.  Not sure he's making the team.  Maybe if he has a lousy camp, it will be easier for Yankees to let him go, and after some minor-league time he'll turn into a usable yo-yo.

Fangraphs' first playoff odds are out.  They have the Cubs at 88.8% to win the division, 96.4% to make the playoffs, and 17.4% to win the World Series (best World Series percentage in baseball; Cleveland is second at 14.9%).

Heyward was behind the FB on his double but he lined it hard the other way. That's encouraging.
