Seems like the fans who were there need to fill up Crane Kenney's email box.

In reviewing my earlier post, I should note that there was an initial written announcement of the delay on the jumbotron, which reappeared periodically. But that was the only communication.

Nice touch by #Cubs behind home plate to honor Billy Williams, who turned 80 on June 15. #Sweet

Interesting to have Chatwood and Montgomery going the same day.

I'm not a fan of Bryant leading off.  That might have been something different to do while he was in his funk, but that's not something that needs to be a semi-regular thing.

Homer, walk, walk to start the game for Chatwood.

Tripp Gibson's strike zone is huge early...guys better go up there swinging...

I would trade Chatwood for Edwin Jackson. This is sad to watch.

Anything close is a strike so far, which you would think would be helping him...

When did he come out of his funk? He still looks like a mess at the plate to me outside of that first game against the Cardinals.

Since May 15, Bryant has one homer and an ISO of .087. But he has still gotten on base at a .357 clip. The leadoff spot seems to be the perfect place for him until he starts hitting for power again.

Pitch #50 is Chatwood's 4th walk of the day. He has only gotten 5 outs.

LOL, Maeda throws Chatwood a 3-2 curve ball down and out of the zone to get him swinging with the bases loaded and 1 out.

Full count breaking ball to the pitcher...hilarious...

And now Bryant works a full count...bases loaded and 2 out...what will he get?

he gets a hanging curve, and loops a soft liner down the LF line that one-hops into the crowd for a ground rule double.

2-0 Cubs!

Bryant with a 2 out, 2 run double. Just barely fair.
