Aaron Judge says hi.

About the one example that works. Judge is a behemoth, and he plays in a bandbox. Not that he needs it.

Judge never even broke into the majors until he was older than Happ is right now.  And he had a 44% K-rate as a rookie.

Judge is a unicorn.

There are plenty of things to like about Happ, but I don't see how he overcomes his K-rate to produce like Judge does. Nobody ever has really done that.

And no has has ever improved their K-rate after their first 600 ABs, either?

Down 5-0 in the 2nd.  Carpenter has a couple of massive HR's, wind blowing out.

Fowler got an RBI double at heart of 4-run second.

Only outs Lester has gotten in the 2nd have been two sac bunts, by Wong and by pitcher.

Lester's avoids further trouble with bases-loaded popout.  52 pitches through 2.

Hendricks couldn't give 5 innings yesterday.  Tomorrow Chatwood is pitching one of the games of the doubleheader (so you'd like to have the option to be able to use the pen for about 7 innings in that game!).  Tough deal for Maddon.

Terrible at bats from Baez and Contreras after they walk three in a row.

The first pitch to Contreras should have been hit halfway down Kenmore.

Looked exactly like the pitch he homered on in the previous AB

McCarver just stated on the Cards telecast that "the Cubs are 2 and a half grand slams away from tying this game".

The score was 16-2 at the time.

The Cubs run differential is not as impressive as it was before the game having dropped from +117 to +104
