And it's not like we have a whole lot of depth at 3rd base in the system.

So having said all that, watch the Astros take him.  :)

Wouldn't be disappointed in Appel, either.

Regardless who the Cubs take, I don't believe Gray's drug screen results will be a factor.

Bryant hit abysmally in the Cape Cod League in 2011 with a wooden bat, striking out 51 times in 130 ABs.

His hit tool is questionable.

Sure, he's made strides since then, but he is no sure thing and as a defender, most scouts think he's going to end up in the outfield.

The Cubs have no pitching prospects, are picking second and there are two big time pitchers in this draft.
