I think I met many of you on Chicago Tribune boards in 1997. Many more when we moved to World Crossing.

stoppers will release francisco mejia to make room for wilin rosario in the minors.  may regret this but pick up andrew susac to replace.  hopefully he continues to play 3/5 nights.

Rosario is expected to play first base everyday in Triple-A

buff, Okie, 82, JR...seems like these all grew up as our kids.   I knew Okie and 82 when they were in high school, through college, then marriage, and now they're daddies.  Unreal.  A lot of people here have become family.  I consider Dave23 and Scoop as very close personal friends and I know more about some of you than I want to know.  Even the Australians.

Heh, I thought I was one of the older dudes on here all those years ago. Then I met Curt and DaveP in Chicago........ :)

Rays starting pitcher Drew Smyly will make his season debut Friday vs. Toronto. Smyly indicated Wednesday he probably can throw 5-6 innings Friday, per The Tampa Tribune.

Yeah it's kind of hard to believe I've been on here since I was a senior in high school.  Time just flies by.
