HYou have given only two alternatives.

1. They have written don't feed the troll, and will do nothing to improve their chances this year no matter how well the team does in the first half of the season.

2. They have NOT written don't feed the troll, and will do everything they can to improve their chances this year, no matter how they start, and no matter what injuries occur right now.

If it were not for fallacies, you would have no arguments at all.

And (since I wouldn't attribute deliberate mis-statement to you) if it weren't for misunderstanding, you would have no understanding at all.
