Excellent response.  He hasn't posted much this season, and the Cubs are doing very well, so ix-nay on trying to get more out of eff-Jay.

The top one is indeed Russell.

The bottom one is Barry Larkin's first full season...he had 160 or so AB's the season prior.

Yep.  With sore ribs, batting would seem to risk exacerbating the injury.
