I wonder if being young hasn't helped to some degree.  Other than a couple of months for Baez and Soler last summer, you've never been a loser.  You've heard the Cubs hype, so you expect you're going to winning for a long time.  Too young to feel like it's a once-in-a-lifetime moment.  Too young to be distracted by Cubs history or the weight of lifetime Cub-fan grandfathers.
