Put him on it.  You can make room by putting Schwarber on the 60 day DL.

Cubs are now 23 games over .500, 6.5 games behind the Cardinals, 2 behind the Pirates, 9.5 ahead of both the Nats and Giants. The Cubs are almost as close to the Cards as the Nats are to the Mets.  If the Cubs sweep the Cards in St Louis tomorrow behind Lester, it isn't out of the question that they could end up contending for the division title as the month progresses.  Absolutely astonishing.

Cardinals have four in Cincy and three in Milwaukee next. Not likely to get much help.
