I'm skeptical that he'll opt out given the uncertainty of the CBA.

Agree.  If being on a winner is priority, Cubs obviously should not be his choice. 

He does seem like the type of player they could maybe target, though?  Not young enough or perfect enough to get superstar money, or to necessarily be every contender's first choice.
