Happ in the strangest stretch of his career. He's about as streaky as any player but those streaks always come with two things: walks and K's. His OPS in September is now about 1.300 but he walked for the first time in that period tonight. He's .514 BABIP.

A string of late-inning doubles to left giving McCutchen a workout; Cubs extend their lead to 6-3.

Nance gets through his inning unscathed and makes a nice cover of first on a ball that Schwindel can't get to but is grabbed by second baseman Bote, for an unusual 4-1 groundout.

Effross -- let's let him hit when his turn comes up; he got a nice sac fly his last at-bat -- is in to pitch the eighth and strikes Harper out.

With the Phillies leading 4-2 in the eighth (and, according to Yahoo, having 1:14 odds to go on to win the game), Happ gets hit with a pitch and Chirinos hits a homer to tie the game!
