I didn't watch the game, but I had it pulled up on MLB.com's Gameday. From that, it looked like Hendricks just had no command today.

I, for one, have totally given up on Happ and wish he had been traded at the deadline.  I'm not sure he has any value left.  Why Ross continues to bat him third, stuns me.

I feel for Ross.  It's got to be disheartening to see his friends traded, his pitching staff decimated, and the team such a AAA disaster.  I wonder how often he has thought, I didn't sign up for this.

Deichmann had a couple of good ABs versus lefties in the sixth and eighth innings today.

Including Alzolay, the Cubs are starting five players who are hitting under .200

Alzolay has drawn the worst offensive support all year.

It doesn't look like that lineup is going to help change that tonight either.
