Nyjer Morgan may have broken his bat, but the ball falls in to start the Brewers first inning.  Now 2-0 on Weeks, who is awful so far this year.

Cubs can get out of last place with a win today.

Garza doesn't look very sharp so far.  Would've been really nice if someone could've gotten to that Morgan floater to start the game.

Braun walks.  Loaded, no outs.

Garza is nowhere close to the strike zone right now.  We're going to be lucky if the Brewers don't put up 3+ runs here.

If any Cub opposing hitter is capable of grounding into a triple play, it's Aramis Ramirez.

3-1 to Ramirez...uh oh...3-2 on a foul ball...

5-4-3.  Run scores, but that's huge.

Well that's a familiar sight.  Ramirez hacks on an outside pitch on 3-1 and grounds into a double play on 3-2 to score the run.

A lot of former Nashville Sounds in this game.  Braun, Hart, Ramirez, Green, and Weeks.

Line out to Castro.  Great job getting out of that inning with only one run scoring.  23 pitches, only 11 strikes.  Hopefully Garza will be able to settle in for the rest of the game.

Did anyone else notice Garza shaking his right hand after a few pitches, like it was cramped or stiff or sore?

Long AB for Barney after a 2 out walk for Mather and single for Castillo.  Full count, runners at first and third.

Does anyone else just want to take a sledgehammer to that douche bag's Honda Civic?
