When you click on video, a screen shows up pinpointing your location for blackout purposes.  San Diego is OK, but I don't know about Japan. 

It's great watching on the iPad and iPhone but I can't see paying $100 plus once the freebie ends.  Especially since we get around 70 to 80 games on TV between WGN, ESPN, Fox, and MLB channel.
