And the other thing, Rafael Dolis cannot be your closer to begin with.  He's just totally unprepared for it at this stage of his career.

They have to do something about this bullpen.  Not even in an attempt to win more games...just in an attempt to be able to cover the innings.

Well, there is going to be lots of this unless some outside help is brought in.

Castillo with a leadoff double, and Len says he's made it to scoring position.

I stand corrected. : )

Soto's the only one still on the bench, correct?  No pinch runner for Castillo?

Barney has been locked in tonight, the infield is in...let him swing away.

Especially now that it's 2-0.  Make him throw a strike.

I guess Samardzija could always run for Castillo, although I don't know if you really want Samardzija barreling into home plate on a possible contact play.

As big and fast as he is, I like his chances.

Barney draws a walk.  First and second for Ian Stewart.

Ok, this guy can't throw strikes.  Stop trying to give away an out.

TAKE THE BUNT OFF!  Seriously, 6 of the last 7 pitches have been balls.  The pitch before that was a double.

BTW Manny Parra is supposedly a major league pitcher, but the Cubs have been offering to give him an out for two straight at bats now and he can't even throw a strike.
