Little looked good.  He's a good example of why you shouldn't give up on pitchers with mediocre-to-poor results and random, unsubstantiated reports of so-so stuff.

Looks like 7 inning games are going to be the norm rather than the exception...

I agree.  Little's curve is a good pitch.  Reports are that his fastball is at 95, but nothing about movement or the ability to locate.

By the way, Fenter also looked pretty good.

Cubs win, Cubs win.  No hitters into the 7th, but Jake Jewell lets it slip away. 

Heh heh, I checked the box score, and saw the 3-2 score after 7 innings, with Fenter and Little having already pitched.  My first brain then asked, "I wonder who'll pitch the 8th, and if it's somebody I'll want to watch later to get a look?"  Second brain then realizes, "Nope!  7 innings is all there is!"  Still adjusting!

Fenter looked pretty ordinary to me.  If it came down to him or Maples, you'd have to take Maples.
