If Feinsand’s sources are correct about the remaining SP market maybe taking a few more weeks to develop, that’s a good thing for Cubs.
Assuming that’s the case, try to sign Imai—and IF fail on that—then imperative to sign Gallen. Otherwise, as Craig notes, going to bleed prospects trading for a quality SP.
So, the Cubs off-season story is still unwritten.
Of course, the Naysayers already claim to know the outcome. Acyually, you don’t. Tempting to skip to the final chapter if don’t have patience……but this is baseball. Just have to wait. If you know similar-type Mets, Red Sox, Yankees fans right now: SAME STORY, Gloom and Doom.
Maybe the outcome will be disappointing, I have no idea. Remains to be seen, sorry. The off-season can be fun and interesting. Maybe try to enjoy??
