The other day Cubs radio played a recording of Harry singing the seventh inning stretch Take Me Out To The Ballgame in the bottom of the seventh.  Iíve been trying to understand why it sounds so good, even though Harry is not really a singer.  The answer is he sings behind the beat.  Heís on beat but he sings behind it.  Johnny Cash does that.  Billie Holiday is famous for that.

You donít leave 16 long guns and a thousand rounds of ammunition in a hotel room without leaving a Do Not Disturb sign on your door.  Or maybe the maid smelled something funny.  At any rate God bless her.  Can you imagine a mass shooting at the All Star Game?  I canít, itís sickening to contemplate.
