Kind of disappointing that there were no announced signings today.  They better start coming soon.

17th-rounder and UConn Junior John Andreoli has signed.

Here's an article on him from last month:

Geez, Andreoli has some serious genes.

I attended a luncheon with Ricketts , kenney and other members of the organization today . Kenney said the cubs were "giving Dunston first round money " implying it was done . He seemed hopeful regarding Maples and less so about Jacquez .

Sounds to me as if he is simply working to milk the bonus

I fail to see how a Tweet moves the Cubs to give him more. They know he's either going to sign or go to Texas.

The tweet made clear that he is not closing the door.  If he gets enough money he will sign, and he is hoping to get more money, though I would not be surprised if he signs even if the offer is not increased.

That did not sound at all as if he WANTS to go to Texas, but simply as if he is using Texas as a bargaining ploy.

His tweets sound as if he has no interest in going to Texas.  It sounds like he is HOPING for more money, but really doesn't want to go to UT.

I think Maples can be crossed off the list based on his Facebook stuff.
