Would disagree about only needing depth at OLB and corner. We could upgrade at both those spots. So far we have McPhee, the two recent signees in the middle Trevathan and ....forget his name, and then who on the other outside? We could use a infusion of youth there. Safey is a mess and can definitely use upgrading and the corner spots we have a unproven young guy and?? Porter?? We need help there...
I agree and disagree about OLB. We have 3 pretty good pass rushing OLBs right now. McPhee was a force early on in the season until he injured his knee (supposedly is going to lose some weight in the offseason) and ended up with 6 sacks. Houston coming off his ACL in 2014 ended strong with 8 sacks. And Willie Young who never played 3-4 OLB and was coming off an achilles finished strong with 6.5 sacks.
Solid group.
But pass rushing OLB is the key position in our D - if you have the opportunity to draft a stud you do it.
And I agree that safety and CB need an upgrade. I don't think there is talent at safety at our pick in round 1 but CB is certainly an option.
