That would be like a wet dream coming true. And I hope Dallas sees that Robinson went right behind us. OTOH that is by Hub a Bear homer. So take it with a grain of salt.

I think the Giants taking Elliott is the key to his draft for us.  But who knows.

I don't think the Cowboys will take EE - they just signed Alfred Morris.  Most mocks have them going Bosa, but CB is also an option for them unless they sign Patrick Robinson.  Several mocks having them taking a QB.

A'Shawn Robinson would be a nice 3-4 DE  to match up with Goldman and Hicks, but I'd like a little more pass rushing ability.   But he just turned 21 - so he's got room to improve.

No way Buckner is there at 11...no way.

That mock was put out by Hub Arhush a Bear homer. If you buy that I will pull out my fake Florida swamp land for you to buy

The draft is a little over a month away and the closer we get to the draft the crazy rumors will begin to fly even more.  Even bad info about a certain player will be out there just to make some player drop to a team in need. We've seen that countless times.

Whatever happens a key player is going to fall to 11.

It may be Elliott, one of the top QB's or Buckner.

Pace is going to see a lot of trade offers that day.

Say Dallas drafts Bosa and still badly wants a QB at our pick.    What would it take?  They could certainly offer their 2nd and 3d.   Probably not enough.

Say the Jets want either of the top QB's or if they are gone they can get desperate for Lynch.

Denver certainly has to think about moving up for a QB.  I would need their first maybe third and a player, maybe corner Chris Harris depending on his age.

The Bears have a chance to expand their number of picks in the top 100, or stay put and hope for the next franchise player.

It's really hard for any team just to acquire our #11 pick without swapping their first.  For example, the Bears pick is worth 1250 points.  Dallas drafting around 3 or 4 in each round would have to give up #2, #3, and #4 and much more.

I could see the Bears sliding up or down 5 or 6 spots if they don't stay at 11, but it would take a lot to have no pick in the first round.  Maybe someone like Wilkerson of the Jets.

Agree, it would be hard for the Cowboys to put together a good deal for us.

In other times their center or RG would be considered, but we're not in need there.

Their LT (Smith) may be just a little too old to sweeten the pot enough.

and I don't know that they have anybody young on defense to get us interested.

do you really think Tyron smith is too old to get the 11 pick? Hes 25 and probably a top 3 tackle at this point... would be a steal to get him for #11.

I thought he was more like 28.

Would have to take a long look at Smith, their 2nd and 3rd for #11.

Cowboys will not trade Tyron Smith (yeah, he's only 25) ...but remember who they have at QB.

I'd bet they go defense at 4 (Bosa maybe a CB) and take a QB later in the draft to develop...they think they have a 2 or 3 year window with Romo and want to win now.

....or a 2-3 WEEK window with Romo.

They have to think long and hard about whether they want to risk a repeat of last year.

I'm sure they are thinking about a QB at 4...but they also need a pass rush.
