5 BPA - DE, LB, OL

6  You could sell me on Denard Robinsion here, but something tells me he will be long gone before this pick

7  BPA that is not a QB, kicker, or punter. 

I think this is why a trade down is so desirable.  Ideally, we could deal out of the 1st and pick up a missing 3rd and use that pick on Lattimore.  Do we agree that the talent between 20 - 40 is almost equal?  The only issue would be if someone that we didn't expect fell into our laps and we ended up on the clock having to make that selection.  I was so sure it was going to be Decastro with our pick last year, so you just never know.

I am high on Lattimore because I have seen a lot of him in the SEC.If Willis McGahee can come back from that knee injury, and AP can come back in 9 months from an injury, then that tells me that Lattimore will be able to come back.  If he had stayed healthy last year, he is a top 10 pick in this draft all day, probably top 5.  We can only hope that many teams have devalued him.  Red shirt him until mid season or the entire season.  Either way, you have Forte's complement and replacement on the roster.  Can you imagine what we would have gotten to see of Sayers had he been hurt in 2012, instead of the 60's?

So that has us taking Jarvis Jones LB.  He ran a 4.92 40?  Makes Teo look like a speed demon. 

Not only did Jarvis Jones have a terrible combine, he has a serious medical condition. No way Emery gam*bles a high pick on that.

Griz - watching some Sayers interviews the bittereness seeps out.  He played on terrible teams, blew the knee out  being really the only Bear offense, the op was botched on the knee even for the 60's techniques, and the Bears put him right back in.  Today?  I think off the charts after a 12 mo rehab. He was really good.

I'm noticing the size of #68. There are WRs bigger than him in the league now.

Spent a little time looking at the various mock drafts.  Both Cooper and Fluker look like they'll go in the first round, especially Cooper.  And quite a few mocks have one of those guys falling to us at pick #20.

But looking at the nfl.com player rankings for offensive lineman - I see the following:

Looks to me that Warford might be a good pick especially in a trade down scenario.  What's the story on him?
