Divers move Barrett to the DL. Welcome back Duke (RP).

Divers also need to check in on Rondon. I drafted him and he began year on the DL. His DL stint has finished, but the Tigers have elected to keep him in the minors. According to league rules, as a draftee who was sent to the minors, I believe I lose him.

Hold up.  Odor has been in the pool since May 16, not June 16.

Boris, give us a ruling.

tico, are they keeping him in the minors for more rehab or otherwise?  If for more rehab, no, you don't lose him...yet.  If otherwise, yeah, you lose him.

odor was demoted to the minors... released and then just called up. he is subject to waivers upon being brought back to the majors.

Per MLB.com Rondon was optioned to the minors after being activated from the DL yesterday.

Method is correct.  Odor is subject to waivers as he was demoted to the minors in May and was just called back up.

Boris, here's the deal with Odor.  Smurf kept him before the draft.  Texas sent Odor down in May, so did Smurf.  Smurf got pressed for minor league space and released Odor later.  Texas brought Odor back up the other day.  Evidently tico and perhaps others claimed him.  Smurf just picked him up.   Question: was Odor subject to waivers since he had already played in MLB and was on a BBFL team this year?

I believe our rule says that he is subject to waivers if he is up for the first time.

Here's the rule.  Could have sworn it said "first time."  Boris: consider Smurf's pickup as making a waiver claim and rule on who gets him.

  v.  Any player who goes from an unclaimable status (i.e. on an active roster, free agent in the minors, retired, DL’d players from the pool, etc.) to claimable (i.e. released from an active roster, free agent called up from the minors, unretired, activated free agents, etc.) is subject to a 48-hour waiver claim period.  (Any player not taken during the initial draft who enters the pool must go through waivers.)  To be voted on Winter 2015.

tico, from what I'm reading on Rondon, I think you should be able to keep him for at least another couple of weeks.  It sounds like Detroit took him off the DL so they could activate him any time, but he's staying down to get more work, not because he's a "minor leaguer."  Let's revisit on July 1.
