Method, sorry, not trading Contreras.  I would have to be utterly blown away and still might not do it.  Catchers who are young and can hit are the rarest commodity in our league.

I may be only one but I don't get value of catchers besides maybe posey.  In last 3 years, besides posey, lucroy has topped 500 points twice, and molina barely once, that's it. Just not enough separation from average to make them all that valuable.  Unless maybe a guy like posey, who might be headed to hall one day. 

Of course that might be why my team has yet to win a title.  What a wasted year for me. 2b, ss, 3b all in top 5 overall bats and I'm all kinds of way out. Eh, here's to next year.

If you have a 500 point catcher and the average for the position is 275, you have a plus 225.   If you have a 800 point outfielder and the average is 690, you have a +110.   

I thought my weakness at CI would hurt me but that my SP's would make a difference.  I was wrong.

I guess each owner values what they value.  Perhaps mine is overstated but with just average catching points this year I would be in or very close to 1st.  Now with Chirinos back and Contreras producing I have picked up quite a few points on the leaders this week.  Of course that Kluber CG Shutout didn't hurt either. :)
