The league rules were updated recently so that roster spots only lock when that player's game starts. So only the A's and the Pirates should be locked right now, you should still be able to swap Puk and Smith.

I see Puk active, but it has Smith on IR rather than dropped. When I dropped him from the IR, it said effective tomorrow.

I can drop him tomorrow morning, as long as my roster isn’t deemed illegal today.
