Shanahan would be s TREMENDOUS HC for this team. No way we'd ever outbid Snyder for him though.

Hell I'd even take his kid (the Redskins OC) even though he hasnt been a HC before. What he's done this year with RGIII and a bunch of no-name WRs and RBs is astounding and even if the Skins don't make the playoffs their offense is making a lot of DCs work overtime.

Only if they had played in the nfl.  Rah rah types that never played pro would get no respect these days. none.

He was chewing azz on the sideline afterwards so I do not think it was his call.  Probably one of those things where before the game they tell the players to do it if they get a certain look and it was never called off.

The officiating wasn't the best today?  LOL!  Seriously?

Look the Bears did not deserve to win this game and didn't but let's not pretend the Refs did not hand the game to the Packers.

Jeffries got called for OPI three times today one of which negated a TD.  None of them should have been called and if they were it should have been on both players.  The only time he should have been called for OPI it was called on Green Bay and gave the Bears a whole 5 yards.  Plus they missed an obvious PI against Green Bay on the play right after they called one on Jeffries that never should have been called.

Seriously the Packers get the most help from any team in the NFL from the refs and it is ridiculous.  Early in the game they roughed Cutler and it was an obvious shot to the head and no call plus you could see in the background a D-lineman grabbing a Bears facemask and pushing the head back on the same play.  No flag.

Yet Peppers hits Rodgers clean and gets a flag.  Not to mention the Packers holding of Peppers evey play for years that has not been called. 

Add on to that Matthews and his gay azz move today and Rodgers and his primo donna BS after the play that the receiver only got one foot down and I hate the Packers more then ever.   I hope they get destroyed in the playoffs and go on a 64 game losing streak because they deserve it after today.

Not sure Urlacher would have made that much difference. Our biggest problems were lack of pass coverage on James Jones, terrible OL play and the INT we threw when all we had to do was run out the half. Urlacher wouldnt have helped any of those, really.

Didn't watch the game. Was at church enjoying a nice, relaxing holiday luncheon and I'm glad I was. Sick and dang tired of losing to the Pakers. Lovie better be fired following the last game is all I gotta say. They won't win the next two. NO accountability, whatsoever. Lovie in lala land. Inexcusable to go 7-1 and then 1-7. Sick of it. Trying very hard to keep it together because I'm just as passionate about this as Marshall is. Glad to see he gets it, VERY glad. He's a definate keeper. Rebuild around him, because this cluster........ needs replaced. Start with Lovie and Tice....

I dont know that Sean Payton grew up around Chicago but he did play for the Bears as a replacement player in the strike season.

Unfortunately because of that, he probably has enough insight into the dysfunctions of Halas Hall that he'd never take the job no matter how big the check. And the McCaskeys wouldn't hire him anyway cause he's not a choirboy.

In any event, if Emery is as results driven as he seems to be, this late season collapse has got to have him counting the days till he can swing his axe wide and deep. There aren't a lot of Bears players and even fewer coaches who should be feeling real comfy right now.
