 Who would you keep on OL and let go ?

OT:  Scott, Webb, Carimi
OG:  Louis Spencer (I'd like to upgrade him in the draft)
C:    Garza (I'd like to upgrade him in the draft)

On the bubble:  James Brown - need to see more of him.  He played poorly against the Pack but that was his first start and it was not at his normal positiion.

Gone:  Edwin Williams

I'd like to see Carimi play RT these last 2 games - we know Scott can play.

I really think Carimi is injuried still or at very least was not able to regain strength after the surgery.  He does look really small this year as everyone has previously mentioned.  Something tells me with another year, he will gain weight and strength and turn out solid at RT.  Maybe I am just hoping because its the only scenario that saves our season next year.  I do believe we need a C and OG like dallasbear just posted.  We also need at least one LB, maybe two as our depth is very weak.  We could use a speed WR and a TE.  If Carimi does not come through it would add RT to list...too many needs for one offseason IMO.  Lets hope he can comeback healthy and stronger.

Anyone with Dish Network unable to see the Falcons/Lions game? It's on ESPN and it says 'Congratulation' You are connected to satellite at 61.5 degrees!' or some such nonsense....anyone having this problem??

I have Dish and am satisfied with it. I wasnt interested in watching the Lions and in fact I wouldnt have watched them had I known they were even playing.

Let's not turn Carimi into Marc Columbo and release him before his best production.  I didn't see a lot of him in college, but a 4 year starter at Wisconsin says a lot to me.  He wasn't at full strength coming into training camp, hindsight, I wish he had had the surgery immediately after the injury in week 2 of last season.

The thing that worries me about Carimi is the weight loss.  Dropping lbs is ok for chicks, not so much for OL.

Apparently there are some scenarios where we could still get in even with a 9-7 record.

So even a loss today may not close the door as crazy as it may seem. Which would make any coaching changes before the Detroit game extremely unlikely IMO, even if we crap the bed in AZ today.

If we win today and Minny loses at Houston, are we back in the wild card position or does NY/Wash have the lead on us still if they win?

Vikings and Giants both have to lose once and the Bears win twice to get in.  There are other scenarios but that is the most likely to happen.

Going back to the OT situation for the Bears...

I can see Scott, Carimi and Webb all coming into training camp in 2013.  But I only see two of those three surviving the final cutdown.

You only need a starting RT and a swing backup and none of those 3 is a legit LT prospect.  So whoever comes in last in that 3-horse race is very likely out on the street.
