WRS on this team suck - Tanner Gentry should be on the active roster.

Let Glennon start so that MT can pace (pun) how the game is headed if he is needed.

First of all, kudos to Davebear for bringing up 2 very good points.  Our 3 corners and Calahan played a helluva game.  Last year a passes thrown downfield found wide receivers with huge cushions - now we're seeing our corners running with them and making plays on the ball.  (Now if we could only get our safeties to do the same but I think Fangio has them playing center field quite a bit.  And even though the Bears got 3 sacks there really wasn't a whole lot of pressure on Rothlisberger.

Second point, McManus made a great play with the block but all the attention went to Cooper and his Leon Lett impersonation.

And where the he!! is Leonard Floyd.  One tackle today.   Glad to see McPhee getting better.

I think Floyd spent a lot of time covering today.  Well at least that is the only time I saw him.

Against the Packers our DB's have to contest every throw and our Dline has to get a ton of pressure on Rodgers.  His O-line is almost as in bad shape as ours so he needs to be hit early and often.

The only defense for Glennon could be that the WRs were never open and/or Loggains gameplan restricted throws to TEs and  HBs only.  3 WRs targets - 1 completion.  Zero passes to Kendall Wriight...really?

Would Fox shock the world and surprise the Packers with Trubisky starting?   Nah, his starter is riding a one game winning streak.

I'll repeat what I said at the time about Glennon.   I believe Pace truly believed that Glennon was a good care taker for a team looking to bridge from Cutler.  With the Browns choosing at the top of the draft, he had no guarantee to get Trubiskey, and the day before the draft the rumor out there was that Trubiskey would go number 1 overall.  When the Browns selected Garrett, the Bears had their opening and new their was buzz about their pick at 3, they could only imagine there was buzz about number 2...the 49ers said as much.  When they traded and selected Trubiskey, the 49ers did not get interest in their now owned 3rd pick and made their selection.

If Trubiskey had gone number 1 to Cleveland, it would have been interesting in hindsight to see what the Bears did at 3... we'll never know.

Good to see this amount of activity on the board!  If the Bears can play with a little relevance again, we might have something!

Whether Sitton comes back or not, Long should stay at right guard going forward.

This game will be interesting with GB.  No Cutler, so they cant count on the normal turnovers, although they may be licking their chops for Glennon.  My guess is the refs will help the Pack as usual, and depending on how well/bad Glennon plays Trubisky may or may not get the next start.

Not sure what the reason was for the Long/Sitton swap.  I thought the LG was your puller and the RG was your mauler.  Not sure Long qualifies as a puller with the bad ankle but I'm sure the coaches will patch together what works best.  Offensive line has player pretty well this season even with the substitutions.

Did Grasu really break his hand?

He definitely had a cast on his right hand on the sideline.

I thought I read somewhere they were switching Long because of his shoulder injury, which he never got fixed.

I wonder if Howard will be good to go Thursday.

Being hurt on a short week is a bad combination.

They just need to always run Howard to the right to not expose the bad shoulder to contact.  And run Cohen to the left where Long can block with his good shoulder.

Nah, his starter is riding a one game winning streak.

Exactly. Not the time for a change, especially against the Pack. Keep Trubisky a surprise.
