So, then, is it your feelings, both of you, that they should move on from Fields?? I'm completely torn on the idea. I see benefits and cons either way, so I'm right on the fence and would be ok with either actually. Think most are thinking get rid of Getsy at this point....Eberflus will get another year

I could go either way.  Fields has a ton of athletic ability.  He has to make the connection between the ears.  He has shown improvement.

In a perfect world we keep them all, knock the packers out of the play offs then slay next year.

I am old enough to know the Bears disappoint more often than not and this is an imperfect world.

The Bears are expert at dashing hopes. There was a ton of hope first game...flopped. There's a ton of hope this game....from their historical record the past three decades, they'll dash hopes again. It's what they've done best-raise expectations and then dash them to pieces....

My prediction on the score and hope I'm wrong but probably won't be..... Pack 30 Bears 17. Same crap, different place....and once again there will be questions raised on Fields. He'll get under 200y passing and a couple ints. The team will revert to it's early form from this season...again, really hope I'm wrong...

Bill Parcells famously said something along the lines of "If I were to listen to the fans as far as football goes, I'd wind up in the stands watching the game instead of coaching the game."

Warren has made his decision on Poles/Flus already. Whether it will be the right one will be seen in the next season or two. Either the Bears elevate their play or they wind up being a joke for another 4-6 years....

Don't forget that Kevin Warren will do what is good for Kevin Warren's reputation. It will be telling after the end of the season how the stadium situation progresses. If he leaves before he manages to get a stadium deal done, it will speak volumes as to what power he really has.....

And we cannot forget the McCaskey curse- like him, this staff is just happy to be there.......

The only way I see 30 points being put up is if there is one defensive td, and multiple plus field position beginning drives.  In that case you are predicting an entire offensive collapse this game.  Fields has a lot of history to disprove, zone defense, late game lack of heroics, and bet Green Bay.  Not sure we accomplish all 3, but looking forward to seeing it.

The defense is on a roll right now.  Love will see a defense looking to increase his interception total.  One thing, they have multiple receivers that he spreads the ball around.  He is playing smart, probably making a lot of presnap determination on where he will be throwing.  Eberflus will have to confuse him.

For the love of God if we keep Fields PLEASE do not give him a third new offense to learn.  That is repeating the past mistakes with Cutler and Trubisky.  And it pains me to say if Fields is back Getsy needs to be back also.  I think the deciding factor today will be Justins production in the fourth quarter.  Turnovers/INTs he is like worst in the league.  Just the kind of thing the Pack and Refs feast on.  Hoping for the best possible outcome.

To think this game doesn't matter is nothing short of foolish thinking. To say a certain way of thinking is for losers, um, the Bears have been losing a lot with much disregard for the fans. A win today changes perception which is huge. Yep, lose, come out next season with a few losses and see the boo birds come out every time Fields touches the ball. If anyone thinks that's what this front office wants they've lost their mind. I do believe that the minds have been made up. I think everyone comes back. Maybe, maybe Getsy hits the road. A good showing by the offense today and a win I think solidifies the return of everyone...

Football is a business, but always remember, without the fans in the seats and fans tuning in on the television, the sport would be nothing but a schoolyard display..

Poles and Warren were brought in to change perception...

I have hopes that when Virginia passes the team gets sold. But then again, this is a cash cow for the family.. And add in the fact that some fans are stupid enough to continue to pay for a bad product..

Look back through the years. Wannstedt, front office hung onto him for how many years too long? Then goofy Dick, cheap hire... Lovie was the only bright spot since Ditka, but could never string together success. Holy sh!t, after that? Trestman? WTF? What about Pace? Another run that left the cupboard "Bear"..

I do feel that this group (front office) is much better than the past. Head coach? I'm not confident, but understand bringing him back.. I don't see any way we don't bring Fields back. But a win today will go a long way..

Once again, the Packers are holding like crazy on almost every play and it is not getting called.  So tiresome!

Love usually has all day to throw.

That has to be fixed this offseason.
