 Roush was in on the previous play and was blocking ok. They took Roush out and the guy he would have covered and blocked was the guy that recovered the fumble.

As longtime Bears fans, we're a bunch of dopey meatballs.  We can't help it.  But even we have to admit that it's nice to have the offensive side of the ball figured out.

The fact of the matter is that a bad/suspect defense is much more likely to surprise its way into success than is a bad/suspect offense.

I am stoked about the offense.  Modern NFL you can't win without a good offense.  But you can't count on winning shoot outs or last-minute heroics.

We need the defense to do just enough.  Not sure if they can especially with the injuries.
