...At the moment, Cubs and Padres are both 24-18 within their division(s).

Thanks.  Not likely to win tiebreaker, if it comes to that.  They've got 7 games left with Rockies, 3 D-Backs. 
-We've got 3 games with Pirates, 7 with Reds/Cardinals. 

So, looks like Cubs will want to stay ahead if they want #4 seed.
