The one thing I've noticed is that "egregious" is gone.  Remember when the ball would be a foot outside and low and the umpire went into a dramatic strike three call and hitters and managers were tossed for arguing and JD would mutter "egregious"?

Those egregious strikes don't happen anymore.  Why?  Are umps being more careful?  Is that why reversals are usually within tenths of inches not multiple inches?  My fear is that some umpires were ego driven and had to make themselves part of the game.  They loved the drama.  With ABS, they are little more than robots themselves.  Gone are the days when they stared into the dugout because someone was chirping at them.  Within a couple years, we won't recognize the names of the umpires and it won't matter.  Just thinking outloud.
