I keep telling myself that it's much better for our team to have its coldest stretch now, while there's still time to recover, than in late September when we're neck-and-neck with multiple other teams for the last wild card spot.

De La Cruz throws the ball away at 1st to allow the Brewers tie the game with 2 out in the 9th.

Brewers take the lead before the Reds tie it in the 10th, but in the 11th Andruw Monasterio hits a PH, 3-run homer for Milwaukee, his second homer in 63 at-bats.

If Brewers were in NL West with their current record, they’d be 8 1/2 games ahead of Dodgers.
