I guess it’s a coincidence but….

MLB initial salary cap proposal is $245.3

Cubs current CBT payroll (per RR) is $245.11.

Maybe Ricketts is the under-the-radar power guy within MLB.

1.65 ERA, 0.79 WHIP, Op OPS: .438

Cristopher Sanchez's scoreless inning streak ends at 50 2/3 innings, just 8 1/3 innings from Hershiser's record.

He had 2 outs and nobody on in the 7th. Then he gave up a ground ball double that had a .190 expected batting average and another ground ball that was out of Trea Turner's reach.

Logan Webb has a no hitter through 6 innings, but he has thrown 85 pitches. This could get interesting. Teams don't let their pitchers go 125+ pitches for a no hitter anymore. But if anyone was going to get that opportunity, it would be Logan Webb.

Interesting.  There's also a viral video making the rounds which appear to show a disparity in the size of the baseballs.

Pitching perfection is the only thing that can hold these Sox back. Terrible defense at times. But they will hit the ever loving crap out of the ball.
